I know it is blurry, but it makes me look better than I do... Remember I started taking prescription for weight loss and it and the exercise are working... back in March I weighed a nice 226... Wednesday morning I hit the scale at a 206.5... YAY ME!! Only 16 more pounds to my ideal weight... and I have to admit I am fluctuating around the 210 area for the last couple weeks, so 206 was just not having water weight in me... but made me feel better... YAY!

The kitchen is still a work in progress and now the walls have been painted... the yellow is a bit brighter than Jeff probably expected, but with the white cabinets and the new tile, It look good... will shoot a video once everything is done and back in place... but for now, the house is a mess because all the stuff in the kitchen is in other rooms...arghhh...

Google Chrome Problems

Apparently Google Chrome has detected something in my blog that causes a warning to pop up... I clicked on the warning and it states that there was no virus or malware found on my site... I am trying to figure out what is going on, but Internet Explorer and MAC users are not getting this warning... it seems to be a Google Chrome thing and I will try and figure it out... so if you can, check me out on something besided Chrome for now and if you have suggestions on how to fix this problem, let me know!! Thanks!!

At work today I have this voicemail from a collections company and a guy named Steven... So, I am a bit worried... I have paid all the bills on time and all... and calling my work and not home or cell...hmmm... My initial call back sent me to a random voicemail box, not that of the extension Steven left... so, I called back later and got Steven, who proceeded to ask if my credit card information was the same from last year in my payment for the yellowpages.com ad for my company... (red flag)... well last year, I thought I had mistakenly agreed to this ad without the bosses permission, and with my ass on the line at work anyway, I made payment arrangements after many back and forth phone calls with (which I really knew inside) shadey ass people. I said I will pay it, and then after that do not call nor ask us for another ad... well this guy today was saying it was a two year contract and now more money was due... I said hell no, and he quickly stated that I had until end of business tomorrow to pay or the price would increase. I said I would find my paperwork and call him back because I agreed to one year (reluctantly)... well, tonight I am doing a bit of research, and I have been scammed... FUCKING A!!! I found online small businesses who have fell into this scam (details of all of it to come if I get things settled)... but same phone numbers and prices and company... so tomorrow I am going to my bank and refute the charges and ask that the company be reported to the FTC and BBB, which they apparently have been several times... hopefully I will get that money back, if not... I know one thing for sure, the only call Steve is getting is one to get an email address and mailing address so I can "send" him my payment... and hopefully the FTC... so yes, I felt screwed then, but I feel even more screwed now... but Karma is a bitch, and sometimes she has my name written all over it...

on a brighter note...see how long my bangs are? down past my nose... Jeff and I have hair appointments with our guy Tony tomorrow after work and I am going to get this hair shit in order, it is just getting too cray cray.. though, I do kind of like it when the windows are down and it is flopping all around in the breeze while driving... how short should I go??? hmmm???

You ever have one of those moments you just want to say 'FUCK IT'? Well, I am feeling that right now... a long two days on the road for work... not really wanting to go into the office... kinda wanna crawl up in a the bed and just sleep for a few days.. the last several day, my stomach has been horrible... my hair has been horrible (gay thing)... the far right tea baggers (not you Lee), have been bad... just been stressed... at a conference today, I got a 10 minute warning I had to speak for my company... ummm, that was not on agenda and I was not prepared (which meant, I did not take my Xanex)... I was nervous as shit and pretty much made a fool of myself... even after years in TV... speaking to a live crowd of people I could see (and want their business)... I fumbled my way through whatever I said... give an hour warning next time so I can pop the Xanex and not have a hold on the microphone with the shakes like, well, like someone who is in mid anxiety attack... also, whose voice starts to crack and shit... arghh... I was shaking so bad afterwards I could not hold a cup of water... I was so embarassed... I hope I have a next time preluded by a pill and a shot of vodka... I am much better...uggh... then after that, a 3 plus hour drive home... so, FUCK IT world...for the moment... I am sure the drink i am finishing up will help me sleep tonite... hopefully work will not be hell tomorrow... though those are shallow hopes...

On the road today. This picture is I-64 West heading towards Afton Mountain outside of Charlottesville, VA... Fortunately the weather was pretty nice today as I headed to Winchester, VA for meetings today and conference tomorrow morning... I was a little sick in my stomach this morning, but after some water and crackers, I was able to not have to pull over... I think I ate something bad over the weekend...my stomach felt the same way yesterday... it felt much better after a big ole...well

I am really thinking of getting rid of this hair... it is getting out of control... I dunno... well, gotta go grab dinner... if my phone has recharged... My meetings today went well and will hopefully bring in some new business...(please please please)...oh and this is me in the hotel room...thank goodness the conference is in the same hotel... since I have to be there at 8am...arghh and sit up booth...arghh... it should be good though...

Thank you to Obama for finally coming out and supporting same sex marriage... and I believe, the first sitting President to do so... so kudos to he and the VP for taking a stance on the issue. Yes, there is the economy and other issues, but, it is a good feeling to know our current President supports us. If you look or listen to any of the interview, he even speaks of Michelle and the kids being sooooo open minded.. YAY!!! The picture above is an old Pride flag and an old man celebrating the announcement, even after NC made a bad decision...

On another note... after topping out at 225 back in February and hovering around 220ish for a while... after a month of doctor prescribed diet supplement, I weighed in this morning at 209.5... and hopefully will keep going in that direction... again, my goal is to get down to 195 or 190... I still have a bit of a belly and some man titties, but I have been making it to the gym at lunch about 4 days a week, so that is helping too... cross your fingers I keep it up...

UPDATE: Jeff's dad came through surgery great and it looks like it will be an all clear. Just will take a few days to get him back up and running...

Well, unfortunately the state of North Carolina has moved forward with banning not only same sex marriage in their constitution, but also civil unions for straight and gay couples...BRAVO! NOT! Take a minute to watch the video below... many of you may have seen it on Facebook already, but it is life for people like me. I work hard. Pay taxes. As does my husband (legally married in DC). Yet we have to pay lawyers and such to draw up documents to allow us to have the same rights as regular citizens when it comes to hospitals, spousal benefits, etc... We have to carry our 'powers of attorney' around with us when we travel, just in case something happens... this is fucking crazy... I am so glad the Vice President said what he did on Sunday... hopefully that along with what just happened in NC will finally draw Obama out on this issue on a Federal level... Sorry, but the country is leaning to be open to this and many of you, my friends have been greatly supportive of me and my husband... I can only hope, that something nationally, equal to Love -vs- Virginia, will happen soon so that we all will not have to see the Gay Rights issue as a fucking political wedge every election cycle... IT IS TIME... wake up... the sooner we make it equal, the sooner you far right wingers will not have to drag us on national TV to bring it to the forefront... realize... let it happen and the media blitz will die down... and we can all live in peace and harmony... as Jesus and God would like it to be.... (I push my soapbox off to the side and finish my drink and head to bed...Thank you!)

We got four chairs last weekend for the deck (until pool comes out)... peach is a good color back there...

Jeff's dad's surgery went well today.. Jeff sounded tired, but somewhat relieved on the phone tonight... thanks goodness... and thanks to all of your kind words and prayers... The next few days will be tough for them, but it is looking good at this point... YAY! Love you Jeff!!

So after work today, I came home and cut grass, so I had to shower and I figured I have not shown skin in a while, so why have it as my pic of the day... hair is getting a bit long (and thin)...

I am home alone for the next couple nights... though I love my me time, I don't like it when it is because Jeff has to head to home to NC for his dad's surgery in the morning. He will likely be pissed that I posted something about it, but I love him and want him to know I am thinking of him and his dad... it has been a stressful week or so for Jeff and family, so, say a prayer for them tonite... I would go into more details, but that may be much for Jeff... I just want him to know I am constantly thinking of him....

We had a little surprise birthday brunch for Chris's sister Wendy at The Continental... It was a great brunch... and thanks to Tim for taking care of the tab... Tim is was Wendy's boyfriend. I don't know what happened... it was fine at brunch...

I had an awesome grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and bacon... and mmmm homeade chips... I know... good for the heart...but I have been good lately and thought a brief greasefest would be okay...

Birthday girl Wendy with her chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich... it was good too!!

Tim's tatoo... the old Budwieser mascot... too cool... though I am not a Bud fan, I liked the tat...

We had to scoot out early to be home for the cable guy... They said between 1 and 3... he wad actually here by 1:30, but did not leave for several hours...poor guy... our high def and digital channels have been screwed up pixelating and all... and he did all he could do to try and figure out the problem... he was under the house, up the telephone pole... switched out boxes and wires... still nothing... after speaking with supervisors they figured something has to be laying on the outdoor wires causing an interference and have to send out another crew to figure it out... but it all seemed to be working well last night... don't know if they figured it out on their end or not... oh well...

and little Miss Roxy sleeping in this morning... and I did not stage this pic...she actually crawls under the covers all the way to the foot of the bed, then eventually works her way back up and this is what I typically wake up to every morning... sometimes she will have her head on the pillow next to me...

One of the best stores in the world... tons of wine and beer and cheap... well, depending on what you drink...

I make a run out to the West End every couple of weeks to stock up... and yes, that is boxed wine... Jeff likes both, the pinot and the cab and it is a lot cheaper than buying all the bottles it would take to fill those boxes, plus, it is good to have around when friends come over and they need back-up wine... the beer in the floor is for me... already had vodka at home... damn! I make us sound like drunks, but fuck it... I just hate going out there to pick up one or two boxes... I just load up while there and saves a trip for a couple of weeks or so...

Jim, of Jim's Stuff, heard about a blog challenge like this on other blogs and liked the idea. There may have been rules with a theme for each day or something else... but he thought he would just create his own. He asked other bloggers to join him. Every day in May we will take a picture from something happening in our lives, post the picture and maybe a comment about it.

May Pic of the Day: 4 - Fucking Animals!!!

The pic above is of a bird that happened to have been caught in our screened in porch when I got home from work to let the dogs out... luckily, I the dogs were more worried about treats and did not notice the bird... 15 minutes later I had it off the porch and all was fine... but that is not the way the day started...

Picture it... 5am... you are asleep... husband snoring... little black dog lying between you and you hear a thump... the other two dogs are not around or on the bed as usual... get to thinking, I have to pee anyway, get up, little white dog is curled up so cutely in the closet floor... (we have a comforter laying there they like a lot)... hear something in the kitchen to find the big white dog with ass hanging out of the trashcan that is now lying on the floor... the one with the lid and laundry basket on it to keep the dogs from getting into it... pissed that I just walked through a land mind of trash in the kitchen to see this, I grab her collar and escort her outside... I go back to survey the trash and realize, the outdated raw chicken thighs with bones, we had thrown away were completely gone... the whole package... one of the dogs (or all 3) ate the GD pack of bone in chicken and not a scrap to be found... ARGHHHH... did I mention 5 fucking am... two little dogs are acting so innocent as I get Jeff up and we start cleaning up and deciding what the fuck to do... besides cleaning up the mess in the kitchen, realized, one of them or two, maybe... shit and pissed in another room... grrrrrrrrrr... so we clean up, I vacuum up all the mess... Jeff does poop patrol to see if there was anything unusual... then I Google this shit... and apparently people all over the place feed dogs raw chicken or chicken wings to their doggies... WTF?? because the bone is not cooked, it apparently does not splinter like cooked chicken... many saying dogs have been eating raw meat forever... still.. I was concerned... but, I did lay back down while Jeff got ready for work, then I got up and headed out... then came home a couple hours later to find all three dogs just surprised a dad was home at this time and then they went back to wherever they were sleeping... not even wanting to go pee or nothing... as of now, things seem okay... will feel better after 24 hours have passed and none of them get ill...but, DAMN! not the way to start the day... and the day was long... and to come home to a bird on the porch that I am sure the dogs would have caught if I had not grabbed doggie treats, would have been horrible... arghhh... thus my pic of the day...
