YUP... see ya later grey... this may become a Friday night tradition from time to time... this is MY mid-life crisis...(I also died the hair)... the things we do at 2am half drunk...hehehe...
I've been doing mine too but to cover the gray the rest of the hair gets too dark - still better than showing the gray. I only have to do mine about every 3-4 weeks.
I do my goatee about once a week. tip, don't go too dark. it looks obvious. make it appear as natural as you can by keeping it lighter then your normal color.

David is right. Go one shade lighter than your normal hair color.
