Happy President's Day! Yesterday was pretty much a lazy day for us... Saturday we had a great brunch with Joe and Stace, then ran some errands in the snow/rain that fell on RVA. On the way home needed some ice so we stopped at the 7-11 and I got a slurpee! A friend of mine, Jack, had mentioned on Facebook about someone getting him a slurpee with vodka earlier in the week and I could not resist the thought, to I got one... a Mountain Dew type and threw in my vodka...mmmmm good... have not had a slurpee in ages... I may just start doing this more often... Otherwise... Jeff and I have been slugs all weekend. We watched a bit of DVR'd stuff yesterday... Today he was off for the holiday and I just took the day off to get some stuff done... now getting ready to throw together some homemade mac and cheese and likely join Jeff in the Castle marathon on TV... still got a little work to do... hope you enjoy your day!!!

Day off? In what universe do you travel in? HAHAHAHA
THey roll this holiday into the Christmas break, so when that comes, we get 16 days off for taking only 3 days of vacation! I can cope with that, but it's a long slog from MLK Day in January to Memorial Day in May without a day off! Now you know why I LOVE snow days!
